Updates... March 2009
03.08.09- Hi everyone! Contrary to how it appears, things have been busy with americanrockstar, albeit behind the scenes. Here are a few updates for ya...
OUR NEW BOOKING AGENT
We have a new booking agent, who is handling all shows from now forward. Face Down Entertainment, headed up by our good friend John Moore. You can read more about Face Down at www.myspace.com/clevelandlocalmusic. If you're interested in booking ARS, you may send an email to facedown@americanrockstar.com or contact them through their MySpace profile.
UPCOMING SHOWS
Speaking of booking, we do have 2 shows in the queue- Saturday, April 11th at the Red Onion in New Philly in support of Dreamada, and a FREE show at Peabody's in Cleveland on Friday, June 12th July 3rd with special guests Amplexus and UserSetsMode+. Stay tuned to the shows page for all the details!
KEVIN CORRIGAN RETURNS
We are excited to welcome bassist Kevin Corrigan back into the fold. Kevin has been coming back in from Chicago for shows and will be moving back to Cleveland permanently this fall to persue a new college degree. You can contact Kevin at kevin@americanrockstar.com.
2 NEW ALBUMS IN THE WORKS
ARS is planning on releasing two new albums in the near future, although no timeline has been set yet.
The first release, originally intended to be a rarities, B-sides and acoustics collection, has been refocused as an acoustics-only record, which will include mostly greatest hits, but also a couple of unreleased tracks and one or two songs from the upcoming all-new album.
The second release is an all-new full-blown rock record. Dallas has been working on demos for the past year-and-a-half, which will be passed on to the band soon for phase two. It's looking like this will be a 10-to-12 song album and it is not yet titled. We are hoping to begin some preliminary tracking in Chicago this summer.
SO...
As you can see, our collective plate is full, and we are excited for a great 2009! We can't wait to see you all again at our upcoming shows.
Stay tuned to this site for more updates, and make sure to sign up for the mailing list to receive ARS news in your inbox.
Thanks for your support, and rock on!!

Support 45 Assignment: Blue Rise this Sunday!
In the nine years that americanrockstar has been around, this Sunday's House of Blues show is the most important concert we've ever been a part of.
This July, a friend of mine, Twinsburg officer Josh Miktarian was killed in the line of duty, leaving behind his wife and new baby. Josh was one of the kindest, most genuine people I ever had the opportunity of knowing, and he touched many, many lives. If you make it out to one show this fall, make it this one. I am so honored to be able to help with the event, and I hope you'll help, too.
All of the proceeds from the show will be going to Josh's family. I know these are rough times, but tickets are only $25, and you can rest assured that it will be 25 of the most meaningful dollars you've ever spent. Also playing will be headliner Mark Wills and local rockers Burning Vegas. There will also be appearances by several special guests.
You can get more details on our shows page.
See you there! And thank you for your support.

Winter 2008 Update + Video
03.09.08
Hi everyone!
Everyone in the band is really excited to be in rehearsals once again. We are busy polishing up all of your favorites and even resurrecting some old school material to bring back to the stage. Even more exciting is that we are also working on a batch of brand new material... we will keep you updated on all the developments with that as they happen.
Mark has been busy furiously editing footage of one of our latest rehearsals into our first ever ARS Video Update! To view the video, go to the following address:
