Dallas Riffle

Dallas Riffle was first known for his 5 year tenure as frontman/songwriter for Cleveland powerpop quartet Somasonic in the mid-1990′s.

After Somasonic disbanded in 1998, he focused his efforts on the short-lived pop/rock studio project Halo for Adam, which also included his brother Coler Riffle on guitar and former Colorvine members Heath Saltis on drums and Tim Wiener on bass.

When Halo for Adam dissolved in late 1999, Dallas reconvened with Coler Riffle, former Somasonic members, drummer Jeff Novak and bassist Dave Tenney, along with former Insect/Son of Slam guitarist Joe Brannan to found americanrockstar.

Dallas currently works in advertising as a multimedia designer/creative developer, and lives in the Cleveland area with his wife and daughter. His active musical projects include recording, mixing and producing the new ARS acoustic album, and the new full-length Bonk album, both due out soon. He also plays rhythm guitar for Cleveland rockers Last August.
