After spending the 90′s in such metal bands as Reign of Terror and Ten Pound Test, Mark Brown expanded his musical stylings in the early 2000′s by joining alt-rockers Last August. During his tenure with the band, they produced their best-known and most well-received effort, the “Control” EP.

In 2005, Mark joined as live lead guitarist of ARS after Mitch Martin’s brief stint in the position ended. Mark played on two tracks of the band’s 2006 album “Adapter,” and shortly thereafter became a permanent member of the band.

Mark’s larger-than-life guitar tone and shredding attack add an unmistakable stamp to ARS’s hard-pop sound.

Mark has also been active with several Cleveland-area projects, including Pop Rocks and Burning the Affliction. He enjoys creative writing and resides and works in the greater Columbus area.
