Scott Sykora
Scott Sykora entered the Cleveland music scene in the mid-1990′s in such projects as Reign of Terror, Ten Pound Test and Red Sky Radio. In the early 2000′s he joined popular Cleveland pop/rock band Last August. Scott joined americanrockstar in 2003 shortly after Last August supported ARS at their sold-out Hard Rock Cafe show.
Known for his ability to inject the power and technical aspects of metal drumming into a more melodic rock environment, Scott’s driving style is instantly recognizable.
Scott still plays with Last August, and has been active with metal outfit Among Ruin. He also occasionally fills in for popular area cover band Pop Rocks.
Scott became co-host of the local radio show “The Unsigned” in spring 2010, and is also an avid fisherman.
